Not a rose, not a Christmas cactus– not a Christmas Poinsettia; a gorgeous Hibiscus needing to bloom again!… It’s been two years since this happened!… The simple things that are worth experiencing; a blossom, a scent, a smile, a happy tone of voice when somebody greets you.
Does it really matter how you do things… not always!

I adore this fountain. It was built in 1885 over an artesian well. I like to walk around it–especially at night–or ride my bike around it on a pretty day when the weather is nice, and traffic isn’t hectic.
Freshly grated nutmeg and cinnamon on a faded apron that’s still stunning to look at, feel, and wear…
