Frigidaire Baker

It’s my first Frigidaire, so it’s a special vintage ‘frig for me.  It was purchased without its guts– the motor and engine.  The door is also off its hinges but with purpose.  I purchased it this way.  

The lettering and freezer door is tinted in a pretty green.  The chrome is still a beauty.

I like the Frigidaire emblem.  It appears to be a crown or resemble one.

The freezer compartment is conveniently converted into a bread box.

The tray under the freezer section stores chocolates for baking.




This large tin holds an assortment of chocolate chips on the first shelf.

Ingredients needed to bake with have turned this antique ‘frig into a baker, a place to store the goodies.

Sugar is kept here.

Supplies to bake with for parties, Fall baking, upcoming holidays…  it’s covered, everything needed is right here.

A vintage M&M’s candy tray, from an old store, adds multiple sections for holding staple goods securely– the smaller packages, containers and filled boxes of dates and raisins.

It’s a good place to keep the plastic wrap, parchment paper, and baggies.

Nuts are kept in the freezer, but the almond paste is in the baker with the sprinkles and decorative candies for cupcakes.

The vegetable drawers are handy for the measuring cups and flour.

It’s a perfect baker.
