Butter and flour a 9-inch springform pan, set oven temp to 350 degrees.

Combine 2 cups flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Beat 3 minutes 1/2 cup softened butter and 2/3 cups sugar.
Add 2 eggs and 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice.  Add flour mixture and beat on low speed 3 more minutes.
Fill the pan, top with 1/4 cup raspberry jam.
Peel and slice thinly tart apples for 3 1/2 cups.
Arrange over batter and jam.
Mix 1 cup sliced almonds, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup sour cream, 2 beaten eggs, 2 tablespoons flour and 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest.
Spread over apples.
