Poultry Stew ~
~ Skirt in the Kitchen ~
Wash and cut celery, carrots, scallions and brussel sprouts; place in a crock pot.
Add minced ginger or horseradish
… 3 cups water, 4 cups chicken stock, purple onions and red pepper flakes.
Cut stems out of collards and add the leaves; lightly salt and pepper.
Add cooked, torn chicken or turkey, ground curry and thyme, fresh parsley/and or basil.
Place a lid over the crock pot, slow-cook on high for 8-10 hours.
