Chocolate Won Ton Delights

September 6, 2010 By Susan Nuyt Leave a Comment

I made these with my children, all three kids; one grown, two not yet 20.  My oldest came by on a saturday, and the mom that I am, I keep something extra in the ‘frig or cupboard saved for “that day.”  –that day on a saturday or a cold day, rainy day, just any day that I know I’m going to want some real-time with my kids when they can each be a part of the cooking/baking together-time that I just love to have with them.  They don’t bicker–they have eating on their minds, but we connect during these moments– we’re doing this together and everything is briefly perfect in my world…  and in theirs.
We put together in won ton wraps, creamy chocolate Nutella; folded over the corners and edges, fried them in canola oil, sifted confectioners’ sugar on both sides of each.
Since then, I have made these with figs along with dark and white chocolate in the centers, and they are good as well.
