Beastie Bars

October 6, 2012 By Susan Nuyt Leave a Comment

In a blender or food processor, crumble into smitherenes 4 whole graham crackers…  or just do what I did– go easy on the baking tonight– Fill a store-bought graham cracker pie crust with 1/2 cup sweetened coconut.  Up to you.  But if you go the full baking route, Measure out 1 cup processed graham cracker crumbs; mix with 4 tablespoons unsalted melted butter.  Put fingers into an 8-inch square baking dish, press gently to form the crust– then cover with coconut and have fun.

Cover 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips over coconut.

Next, 1/2 cup white chocolate chips.

Pour over chips 3/4 cups sweetened condensed milk.

Sprinkle ground cinnamon over the nuts.  Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.

Cool completely before serving.

~ Made for “Nephew” –Rob.  We have the same cookbook (:
