… the way my father likes his scrambled eggs, hot and spicy, southwestern thrill. Thanks to him, I learned to eat and like my hot spicy foods from early on; garden peppers, hot dilled that he and my mother canned– my little sister and I would eat them straight from the jars, little tikes with hot peppers and lovin’ em.

Here’s what he would choose, and what he’s made similarly for us in his scrambled eggs– sharp cheddar, grated… minced onion, jalapenos, green bell pepper (any color), hot sauce; and I like to add adobo peppers, 3… and a good melting white cheese, crumbled– as well as hot diced red tomatoes with green chilies…
