Chocolate Bird Peeps

In a stainless or glass double broiler over the stove, melt a full amount of dark chocolate with three-fourths of the amount of milk chocolate of the Ghirardelli brand–or equal portions, depending on your preference of sweetness.

A little at a time, whisk in coconut oil.  All in all, I probably stirred in 3/4 to 1 full cup, approximately.  This will make it smooth and sleek, but you want to be careful to do this gradually so you don’t get the consistency too thin.  Choose a medium-thickness to dunk the Halloween Marshmallow Peeps Snack-Size Chicks.IMG_3381 Chocolate Bird PeepsImmediately after dunking, add Halloween sprinkles, and lay them on waxed paper.  To release unnecessary dribbles of chocolate, using tongs, place 2 chicks from the waxed paper into each Halloween paper cupcake liner.  Put the chocolate bird Peeps in a muffin tin for in the freezer for a while to harden up, the chocolate drying to a nice finish.  This will taste and be like chocolate marshmallow Easter candy!Peeps party
