Chocolate Pecan Mincemeat Pie
~ Skirt in the Kitchen ~
You know I can’t help mixing it all up, confusing matters, so let’s get complicated– a different pie.
Measure 1/3 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar, and a pinch of salt. Add 3 large whisked eggs, 3 tablespoons Irish Whiskey, 1/2 cup sorghum, 1/4 cup agave nectar, 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1/4 cup bitter-sweet chocolate chips, 1 cup toasted and chopped pecans, 1/2 cup Skirt in the Kitchen Fruit of Mincemeat (not regular kind of mincemeat), and 1 stick melted unsalted butter. Stir together ingredients, pour into a baked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 50 minutes or until center is set but still semi-soft to the touch. Cool for 2 hours before cutting into, then top with whipped cream and sprinkled cinnamon.
