Craft and make a little crow nest for fall. If you’d like to spook it up for Halloween, string some strands from a hot glue gun over the black bird in its nest. Practically all the supplies needed are from nature’s resources.
Choose an egg shell that is unique in its outer appearance, and gently wash it under a stream of water. Use a small art brush if need be for the interior. Turn the eggshell upside-down on a paper towel when air-drying for a day.
This is the cotton my daughter and I collected over summer. It reminds me of the cotton from the cotton fields in the southern states. It fell so pretty on the ground, just floated from the limbs of the branches on a slight breeze of air from an old cotton tree near a pond. Line the shallow bamboo with the beauty of autumn-the leaves of brown shades from the trees you enjoyed in the spring and summer when they were green. They are beautiful in all seasons.
Tomatillo husks can be added for a filler. They look like they have veins, what appears to be even a laciness to their dried skins.

Craft a baby bird using the “wooden” parts of the cotton seed for its beak. Take some of the seed specks and place in the cotton for the eyes of the bird. Spot-glue craft feathers for the sides.
