Wintery Chocolate Bark

Wintery Chocolate Bark ~
~ Skirt in the Kitchen ~

[Operation Skirt]

I want heat– dried chile, a few seeds included.

I want chocolate– dark…  smoked cinnamon, pistachios…

I want the Peeps Marshmallow Hearts from the cupboard…  no one’s looking.

Let’s break hearts.

I want peanuts, almonds, cashews…  brazil nuts, hazelnuts…  pecans.  I want lots of thick chocolate melted in the microwave with nuts stirred into it’s rich dark color.

I want sweet milk chocolate– stirred in until it’s slightly melted, leaving soft chunks.  I want the chile bits in the melted center…

a layer poured down, then smoked cinnamon sprinkled over it, after a drizzle of spiced rum…  and the marshmallows…  then one more layer of melted chocolate with mixed nuts, pistachios and sea salt, and more cinnamon– just a little.  I’ll chill it (covered) on the front porch with the ice.
