A new T-shirt for Breast Cancer Awareness…
Blue orchid to cheer a room; adds elegance and grace…
Baby collectible dishes for a desk on crisp cotton linen– the bottom plate, my firstborn’s…
A dove’s feather found in the yard…
Vintage salt and pepper shakers with wooden bases…
Another set given, a gift, in representation of my father’s years in the Navy…
A favorite from childhood– still…
These in bright red are the size for toddlers’ hands to hold, the chopsticks, too; cute…
Vintage decorative balance scale placed in front of a large antique mirror on the very back of my “desk”– It’s actually a 1940’s Craddock mahogany Duncan Phyfe Style drop leaf table with dining chairs. I keep it partially extended. This set reminds me of an identical set that one of my grandmothers had from my father’s era, so this is particularly special to me. There is a separate dining room table for my family to eat from– I’m making sure this one does not get nicked and scratched!…
Miniature dried roses stuffed into a baby shoe from long ago– for my father’s left foot…
An angel my little girl made for me, and it stays tucked in my incoming snail-mail, lol…
Enjoy the moments you can treasure that still take you back to a warm place worth remembering when the days get stressful, the work load heavy– the little things that signify who you are and of the ones who matter to you, the people you love who have always been there.
