Can I use this image? After all, it does coincidentally look like me!
But the real me is inside me.
As it is in you–who you are–the real you.
Your appearance is the outer look.
But you‘re inside.
I didn’t plan it–I didn’t plan this post.
Honestly, I didn’t!
It doesn’t matter, because it’s not about me. I’m writing for anybody who finds this of interest; sharing this wealth.
God shows up, even in ways like this!
He speaks to us, to each one of us, through various ways; through different people, places, things, circumstances, situations…
We are all, each one of us, human individuals–but created in His image if we are really HIS… !
We have the choice to choose what we want to believe; what we do believe. But He makes His relevance to us.
More than this, “more than that“–but more than this…
Who are we?
Who are we.
Really?
Truly.
Are we true to our word, to God’s Word? What we say, what we do, what we come forth, bring forth? What we do?
What do we really say to people, in our actions, in/through our word, relying on HIS very word?
Are we “good”?
What exactly is, “good”?
I think God describes it best.
He decides His Grace He bestows unto each one of us on a daily basis.
We are all, each, messed up human beings.
Yeah, we’ve made more than our share of human mistakes.
But God forgives.
Yes, He does.
God does forgive.
He forgives each one of us. It doesn’t matter how far away we’ve gone, how deep we went into a hole, or wherever/whatever the matter be.
Still, it does not mean that it’s “okay” with God–if we take His love for granted, then abuse it. But He still gives His Grace to us, despite anything.
Even though He is a loving, forgiving God, it’s never really ‘okay’ that we have ‘a free pass’ to do whatever we want our sins to convince us to do…like sweeping it under a rug–and just calling it a human condition.
That it’s just okay.
Not make any sense to you?
I think not! What do you think? Really?
But what does God think.
WHO is GOD.
That/this is the correct/right question/enquiry to ask, to seek.
“Take it to Jesus.”
Speak.
Talk.
Open your mouth and speak to Him. It is simple, simple as that.
“Come as you are.”
Please do, and I will, I am!
Total repentance of our sins, each personal wrongdoing. He knows each one, and each one of us, inside-out. After all, He created us.
“Who am I?“
Do we, each, ask this question to ourselves at one time or another?
Yes, we do.
We must. It’s “checking in”.
We have to.
We need to!
WE have to, for our own good and sake of living; then beyond our final breath…
Take a deep breath.
Realize that we’re caught in a moment/in the moment; but this moment is throughout our entire life.
And continues beyond this world.
“Who am I”, what am I put on this earth to really do??
Romans 8:28 KJV says–“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. 29For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified.”
Praise be to God. Truly.
Amen and Amen.
…I am a sinner saved by Grace in/through Christ Jesus, my Lord and Redeemer.
It doesn’t make me a “freak of nature” as many in the world would describe me or anyone else of these words out of my mouth. But primarily out of His mouth, upon the tablet of God’s mighty heart for each one of us to live…
It causes me to say, and I believe, knowingly, “I repent of my sins, dear Lord, and I ask You of Your mercy and forgiveness upon my life–upon my soul, forevermore.
But more than this or that now…
Who are you?
Are you made by God, do you believe that you are?
You are beautifully and wonderfully made as it says in His scripture, His Word, Psalm 139:14: “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works, and that my soul knoweth right well.“
We are fearfully and wonderfully made! Rejoice!
You are loved, dear one of God!
But do you know Him?
Really.
Do you really, truly know Him as your Lord and Savior?
We must be sure.
You. I. We. Our lives are like a vapor or a flower that withers away, suddenly. Our blooms fall, petals get blown upon the dirt or dead grass in due season.
But His yoke is easy. His burden is light. He knows all things, He understands all things; every person inside-out…
Trust in Him today/tonight.
Many are called, but few are chosen.
Be the few.
Live and Let live, come know Him.
His Word, His Grace, His love…
Thank You, Jesus, for Your Sovereign Grace, thank You for saving such a lost, wretched soul as mine.
Never more gone.
Praise be to God!
