Learn & Live [4]

May 2, 2018 By Susan Nuyt Leave a Comment

♥ Numbers mean a lot.  How many babies/kids you’ve had/you have!… how many times you’ve gone to your favorite summer place, how many cups of coffee make your quota for the day!

♦ Never sleep in your makeup–no matter how tired you are or how late it gets!

♣ Somebody told me that as beautiful as a Whippoorwill bird sounds its presence in the early morning hours–before a soul is stirring, that early–“it’s one of the ugliest birds!”  Living in the South, it is my favorite bird to hear in the woods [in the tree branches if you live metro]; but it wakes me up peacefully like a calm alarm.  It’s like…it speaks to me softly and sweetly to set my day.  [I googled it, and I think it’s darn cute!]

♠ I miss the cottonwood trees in the Midwest.

◊ My houseplants are like pets to me.

♥ I’ve got so many calls to make today!

♦ A cheerful text says so much.  It can melt a heart.

♣ There are so many ways to do everything.

♠ If you have an Australian Shepherd, invest in lint rollers!

◊ A good poppy-red lip color is what you need to carry in your purse to wear for Spring!  It’s bright and happy 🙂

♥ Have you ever mailed a thank-you card to somebody who sent you a thank-you card?!… thanking them for the thank-you card?!lol!  Am I just a little annoying to you?!

♦ Orange clay in the dirt, in the South, is so good for roses.

♣ I might just grow into a good golf arm!

♠ Have you made your summer plans already?!

◊ What’s your favorite food right now?– I’m getting addicted to lamb gyros with cucumber sauce and a great cut of leafy green!  My dog loves lamb as well as her pig ears lol…

♥ Walking in the rain with or without an umbrella is fun to do.

♦ Guinea eggs are a luxury to get.  Small; but neat to do some artful cooking with…

♣ Nobody likes a fender-bender.

♠ What’s your favorite scent?–fresh wood?–a cake baking in the oven?–a rose bloom?–new baby-skin?–or that new car smell?!

◊ Have a beautiful day!  Enjoy the sun and fresh air!
