Fried Green Beans ~

In a medium bowl– combine 1 cup flour, 1 cup coarse yellow cornmeal, 1 tablespoon salt, 1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
and 1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne red pepper.
Whisk together.
Pour 1 cup whole buttermilk into a separate bowl for drenching beans–
1 pound, ends trimmed.
Dip,
coat into dry mixture of cornmeal and seasonings. Fry in batches in a large Dutch oven, oil to a depth of 2 inches. (Oil should be heated over medium-high heat to 375 degrees.) Until golden and crisp, fry for approximately 3 to 5 minutes per batch. Remove from oil and drain onto paper towels. Serve warm and serve with zesty dipping sauce of
1/3 cup mayonnaise, 1/3 cup ketchup, 1 tablespoon Worchestershire sauce, 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper and 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt.
Lastly, add chipotle chili pepper; whisk to blend.
