When I see locusts on some leaves or sticks, I go and put them on some flowers. When my dog, Rosie, sees locusts, she barks.
I was hoping to write this the day after tomorrow.
Rosie likes eating peanut butter, a lot, and sweets. But she gets in trouble because she’s only suppose to eat dog food. She jumps up and takes my snacks sometimes.
And she likes to attack bugs. I won’t let her hurt the locusts, or any bug.
I normally go outside to see if any locusts are hatching. I also check if there are any Monarch butterflies. I’m still collecting locust shells and I have so many of them. That’s all I’m going to say right now about that.
When locusts hatch, they’re bright green. Their wings look like fairy wings. I used to think they were fairy wings coming off of fairies. I looked and studied locusts and I saw that they had the same pattern and detail in their wings. But fairy wings would be a lot tinier than locust wings.
The older they get, the darker they get, and the grayer. Locusts climb a lot of trees and they leave their shells there. They stick in the cracks of the bark.
I sometimes pick some flowers for either bouquets or for barrettes. Sometimes I put them in a glass cup of water for a decoration.
I put locusts in my hair for decoration or for playing.
