I enjoy different types of cinnamon– sometimes I combine two, leave some separate — in jelly jars, marked, so I don’t forget which ones are which.
Something simplistic but just right. And, yes, it’s clean…
Third slot is where I keep my star anise– gorgeous.
I pour my pure vanilla extract into a jelly jar, already having 1 or 2 vanilla beans in the sweet fragrance that baked goods are so yummy for. But I keep it out of the light, and into the trough bin of spices with the nutmeg.
The same done– whole allspice added to ground allspice. This spice bin has a hinged lid, and is decorative as well as practical.
(glass) Fun and useful to have, this bin that smells delightful when the lid is open for baking– or even cooking– sometimes these spices go terrific in chilies and other savory dishes.
