Malbec Square Shots

October 14, 2019 By Susan Nuyt Leave a Comment

I love the vintage feel and look of this, with the twist of modern, of course…
Use the large box of JELL-O, strawberry or cherry…
And definitely choose BLACK BOX Malbec dry [dark] wine. This decadent wine holds the flavors of blueberry, violet, tobacco, and chocolate! It looks, tastes, and feels of an elegant velvety finish…
Strain the cocktail juice but keep it.
As making any gelled salad, [for the large box, remember] stir 2 cups hot water into the packet contents of delicious flavor and powdered gelatin; that party vibe you want!… Grab a pretty vintage bowl to do this–
Dissolve well. Am I telling you what to do?!– I have that tendency, don’t I?
Pour the juice strained off the fruit cocktail into a measuring jar– this just works best this way!… I’m bossy, yeah, I know that…
Fill the measuring line up to the 2-cups mark on the glass with wine over the juice! Trust me, this’ll be worth it…
Okay! Now it’s time to put some jewels of fruit into the square “bins” of silicone trays. Ladle the wine-juice into each square, equally eyeballing it.
Now when set, and your company is ready to arrive, carefully present your served dessert– work quickly before any melting!– but carefully not to fall apart!
Put on some good music!
Every non-matching glass bowl or cup makes this presentation way-cool– and you’ve got it!
This is what you’re going for! These are Malbec Square Shots, my dear!
