Remember the Daffodils

Remember the Daffodils, by Susan C. Kussman Miller [photo by Flower Fly]

Remember the Daffodils in early Spring;
A miracle of springtime.
You get excited when you see the green shoots;
A first sign of Spring, you see!
The God Who created all…

They toil and spin in happy jubilation,
Blooming their lovely colors of yellow.
They seem to say, “Hello, and welcome to Spring!”

God’s encouragement to us;
To start and refresh anew His reason: TIME.

So lovely are the crispness of their flowers,
In total detail of blooms.
They show us how perfectionistic God really is;
And how He loves us unconditionally!

Why the yellow Daffodils?
Because they smile at us to welcome in Spring!

So remember the Daffodils, first sign of Spring;
The beauty of their array!

Then, you pluck a bouquet for your table,
Adding sunshine to your life.

So don’t forget the Daffodils,
As they are here to stay!
