Learn & Live [2]

April 12, 2018 By Susan Nuyt Leave a Comment

This is becoming “a thing” for me now.  I have to ” -itch” somehow, but in a good way… because I “gots ta” to be a pain to somebody.  It’s my thing, it’s what I do (also in a good way if you haven’t noticed)– a new segment.  Somewhere to stop in, to drop everything for a second.  “To smell the roses” because life can be such a pain if/when we let it be–

And then move on, mosey on out for the day.

So here are my pointless/point-made thoughts for the day, however you wish to “take it” 🙂 —

♥ You have to train a man to respect you.  Yes, you heard me.

♦ You get over what you realize is a dead-end street.

♣ Your good-luck clover might be right around the corner, however you make it.  It’s all up to you.  [I’m referring this list to myself, as well, so don’t worry.]

♠ It’s never only about one person.

◊ You have to be your own best friend.

♥ Make your own money, and lots of it.  It’s important in more ways than one– and do it ethically right, always.

♦ Make sure your dog has flea medication and heartworm prevention, religiously.

♣ Don’t bother with people who can’t look you in the eye, having the audacity to not acknowledge your presence, to pretend that they don’t hear your words spoken.  It might be an insecure response out of anyone like that, but you don’t have time for that.

♠ You ‘can’t’ panic over something that you have to deal with.  Get guts now.  Tornado warnings included.

◊ Southern living is “laid-back”, lazy and fickle.  Just saying.

♥ Yes, do count your chickens before they hatch.

♦ Why let bees burrow in a door casing.

♣ Taking out the trash can be an honorable task.

♠ Be like a chicken with its head cut off in a busy street.  You might lose a claw.

◊ Brighten your door with a fresh coat of paint.

♥ Be pretty, feel pretty.  Know that you are beautiful.

♦ Disregard a mean text message altogether.

♣ What is impossible is not.

♠ Gold glitter glistens.

◊ Spray the ankles with perfume.

♥ Be your own kind of dessert.

♦ “Make me feel important” really does apply.

♣ Notice a stop-sign with careful regard.  Not necessarily a traffic sign.

♠ Don’t burn the coffee.  “Burn a bridge” or two.

◊ Fix every gate.

♥ Pound out a plan.

♦ Impact of ice accumulates; break through it.

♣ Move a mountain.  You can do that, you know.  Yes, you.

♠ Try every possible means and mean it.

◊ Adore pearls more than diamonds.

♥ Love your life.

♦ Be an influencer, draw your crowd.

♣ Learn and live, literally.

♠ Don’t drag the jawline.
