Hello! Have you missed me?-a slight teeny bit, perhaps?! I hope you have!!-I’ve missed you!
Where have I been lately… broken down computer land… Yep, I’m typing on a “foreign” computer, a laptop not my own! The guts to my precious device are spread on a table, for the last several days. Please pray that my right arm (my laptop) can undergo surgery successfully! I’m getting worried; really, I have been!! I mean, what if it can’t be fixed… Words matter.
I cannot edit and post any pretty pictures for you today.
It’s kind of funny how you get use to your own keyboard! This one feels awkward to me; less enjoyable to type. It doesn’t have that natural flow and rhythm as mine, from mind and heart to fingertip. Just listen to me, I’m talking like my laptop is a person, my personal assistant! Yeah, I can be silly sometimes!
What have you been doing this week besides work? If you’re like me, though, your work is your play!-I love my work!
I miss my summer gardens. I’ve had to pull up my zinnias by the roots. In place, pretty Daylilies will be planted in hopes of a good blooming season next spring. I got in a bit of a trouble by the city for my zinnias growing too tall! Who knew that flowers would get me in trouble, lol?! No bad particular vice, just pink cheerful petals for butterflies!
Also, I’ve been baking up a storm of fall goods, from pumpkin-to banana-to zucchini, breads and cakes. I better stop that if I intend to keep a trim waistline. A little good does a lot good a long way…
It’s been raining a lot, here, and drizzling if not raining! In between those times, I strung Halloween lights outdoors-but at night when it was dark so I could see just where the lights would lay! I’m such a party girl-in a decorative way… ! I particularly love the Halloween green candy lights this year! These lights cause me to think of my Jaloween PepperJelly Sauce that I made last year, the Witch’s Brew-the green slime from jalapeno peppers!
I’ve also been decorating in the house for Halloween and fall, bringing in some elements from the outdoors-like tree bark, pumpkins, and dried sunflower heads; some with their long stalks still attached.
I do heavy deep-cleaning every season, just to keep my organization up to speed-so I’m deep-cleaning these days that I cannot write and photograph for you, and chat with you over coffee.
Speaking of coffee, I’ve got a good cup right here, the last of the coffee in the house! I’ll have to pick up some good brew when I step out to pay the electric bill in a little while. It has to be good coffee for a good cup…
I hope to talk to you next time, not long from now, typing from my very own computer along with some fall photographs. I miss you, please take care, and enjoy the season of change!
Susan
