These are pesticide-free, picked for jelly-making; for dandelion syrup, for salads and more. These are not weeds. They are welcomed in my yard. The dandelion has always been the first flower that every child has picked for their mother. It’s still innocently picked by tiny hands and fingers, always bringing a smile. The greens are packed full of nutrients, as well. Sometimes I will mix them in a blend of other greens. I prefer them with a warm vinegar-bacon dressing.
