Susan Nuyt (Short Video Clips) – “Crochet a Theme”

February 22, 2014 By Susan Nuyt Leave a Comment

I never know what songs are going to attach to these videos until it happens, lol…  but it’s about fingers in motion when it comes to crocheting and sewing.  This is one of those good, thick and rugged meat string hot pads that I adore making and having in the kitchen as well as giving away to close family and friends.  If you haven’t received one from me, you’ll get one!

It’s a Skirt in the Kitchen project.  It’s wholesome and simple, so basic.

The third video is here.  I like it in ‘real-time’, natural background noise while listening to a documentary.

What I like about meat string, not only is it durable, but its color is pure-like.  The roll, itself, is beautiful before it’s made into anything.  When for cooking, it’s even got its appeal to truss a hen for roasting; a beautiful string.  It’s stubborn, has its moments of not wanting to cooperate when sewing but it makes an excellent hot pad.
