Skirt in the Kitchen
I like doing this with popcorn for Halloween– add the candy– several types of gummies, popping candy, pistachio nuts, baking sprinkles that glisten, Sixlets, and milk chocolate chips. I like the popping effect in each and every bite of popcorn because of the pop rocks. I still salt the popcorn. I prefer popping the kernels in a Dutch oven on the stove top, not air-popped in a popper. I freeze the kernels when storing. I think it pops better; plus, it tastes better. Jazzed up popcorn given to family and friends in small paper bags sent home is as good as going to the movies. It’s always fun.
