Rose-Colored Glasses (3)

January 27, 2013 By Susan Nuyt Leave a Comment

Dried rose– as lovely as one freshly picked…

good Missouri wine…

From Sainte Genevieve Winery– apple, slightly sweet with a mulled wine recipe on the back of the bottle– attractively neat as well as delicious.  Have a small chunk of Parmesan with it, the straight wine, that is.  I’ve actually never tried the recipe but I adore this brand of wine and fruit flavor…

Valentine’s Day pin cushions that my little girl and I are sticking pins in for when we ought to be getting our sewing done– Oh, I’ll probably try to muster up more time in my day to make crafts and sew what-nots to sell with her at the local “old-ladies'” groups, but we make stuff for young people– just what the youth and their moms like to have, lol…  Would I reeeeaaaaally make something that the elderly would use?  Hey, when you’re a mom, you have to do these things.  Besides, it’s good for her– and she loves it almost as much as she loves and adores her mommy.

Sweet Tigger…

Vintage hot pads…  a breather for the day, taking time out to notice the 5 things that make me smile.  What are the things that make you smile in your day as well as the ones who love you, who take the extra time to be with you in your hurried day– maybe to give you a helping hand or just have a cup of coffee with you…   ?
