Orange-Chocolate Chip Muffins

 Orange-Chocolate Chip Muffins,
 adapted from Better Homes and Gardens
 
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

 In a large bowl, stir together 2 cups flour, 1 tablespoon baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.Stir in 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips.   In a separate bowl, combine 2 eggs, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup whole milk, 1 tablespoon finely shredded orange peel, 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice, and 1/4 cup vegetable oil. Making a center well, pour liquid batter into the empty spot to combine.  Stir just until moistened, leave it lumpy.  Fill into 12 muffincups. Load struesel generously over each muffin and bake for 18 to 20 minutes.  Serve warm.
