Broiled Liquored Bananas with Ginger and Walnuts
~ Skirt in the Kitchen ~
Slice lengthwise 5 to 8 bananas. Make a thick rim out of a double-lined aluminum foil sheet to catch the liquid.
Cover with dark brown sugar, ground cinnamon, wild black walnuts, and minced ginger root. Dot with butter.
Broil to desired doneness and caramelization; scoop up with vanilla ice cream and syrupy juices.
